I visited London and after three days, I can easily say this city has now become one of my favorite cities in the world.
You know when they say getting there is half the fun? I think the person who came up with that saying must have been riding around London’s subway system (a.k.a. “The Tube”). This was my first time on a subway. For many, it’s just a normal part of daily life, but for me, it was such a great way to travel around the city and feel the ebb and flow of the people that live in London.
I used the “tube” to visit all of London’s main spots, including the London Eye, Hyde Park, various museums, churches, and more. I also made my way out of the underground and took a scenic cruise along the River Thames.
Ultimately, London was great but I do need to return to England so I can visit Stonehenge. This prehistoric monument is located in Wiltshire, England, and archaeologists think it may have been built anywhere from 3000 BC to 2000 BC. Because I’m really into historical sites and ancient history, this is something I do plan to see someday. I'm definitely getting circle access, which allows you to get directly inside the area and just inches away from the magnificent Stonehenge stones.
