5 continents, 29 countries, almost 200 cities, and a craving for more! I hear a lot of people say they want to travel the world when they retire. My question for them is... why wait that long? I'm interested in going anywhere anytime because every place is unique and has something to offer. I've gained some great memories that I'll have forever and also had a life changing experience in Egypt along the way.
Iconic landmarks, incredible landscapes, infamous historical sites, famous museums, priceless works of art, church's and cathedrals, cultural differences, dozens of languages, food, people, wild animals, spiritual journeys, and too many other things to list. I'm definitely grateful and blessed that I've been able to experience so much at a relatively young age... but I'm still obsessed with seeing and experiencing more.
They say "the best camera is the one you have in your hand". You'll notice the quality of photos changing from gallery to gallery since I've used a variety of point and shoot cameras, DSLR's, and even my iPhone. There are a lot of great shots and some not so great shots... but each photo helps bring a story to life. I felt the need to share these experiences to hopefully inspire others to get out there and see everything they can and see everything the world has to offer.
***** I'm currently working on sorting all the photos from Africa. Feel free to view the Middle East, Europe, United States, and South America below. *****
