Lady Gaga exploded in 2008 with her debut album "The Fame" which included the hit songs "Just Dance", and "Poker Face". The following year she released "The Fame Monster" with more hit songs like "Bad Romance", "Telephone", and "Alejandro".
Gaga's influence can be traced to David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Queen, and even rock acts like Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, and Iron Maiden. She's sold about 24 million albums, 125 million singles and has won 5 grammy awards and 13 MTV Video Music Awards.
The stage production and attention to detail was one of the best I've seen in the music industry and her show contained a Cirque du Soleil vibe complete with odd characters and unique moments. The crowd sung every word and they sung loud the entire time.
