Legends! I flew to Los Angeles to film some stuff for "A Real Rock Story" and also check out ACDC at Dodger Stadium. The band formed in 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, who continued as members until Malcolm's illness and departure in 2014. ACDC's style is rock or blues rock and they're considered pioneers of heavy metal but they've always referred to their music as rock n roll. They've sold over 200 millions records making them one of the world's best selling bands of all time.
The band opened with "Rock or Bust" from their latest album and then went straight into one of my favorite songs "Shoot to Thrill". They played most of their classic songs like "Back in Black", "Dirty Deeds", "Thunderstruck", "Hells Bells", "Highway to Hell", "For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)", and more.
I went to this show alone but I ended up sitting next to the wrestler Chris Jericho and M Shadows from the band Avenged Sevenfold. Another funny thing happened before the show as I walking to the gate. I saw a guy that looked familiar and thought to myself "is that him?" and once I confirmed who it was, he got on a golf cart and took off... it was none other than Duff McKagen, the original bass player from Guns n Roses. You really never know who you'll see in Los Angeles.
