From music, traveling, photography, technology, and too many other things to list, Daniel Messemer has what some could only describe as an obsessive personality. Driven by a desire to experience and learn with a philosophy of "just doing what you love" are the primary motivations for the projects and paths he embarks on.
On the music front, Daniel has been playing guitar for over 20 years as well as bass and drums. As a teenager, he developed speed and technique by playing along with Metallica, Megadeth, Guns n Roses, Aerosmith, Ozzy Osbourne, Led Zeppelin, and many others. He is also influenced by Electronic Music, Alternative Rock, Classical, and Blues greats like Eric Clapton, Albert King, and the legendary Robert Johnson. Learning on his own from the players that have inspired him, Daniel covers a wide range of musical styles.
Being heavily consumed by music at a young age, Daniel was determined to start his own band and formed "Andromeda's End" to have a fun creative outlet. The band has played many venues and festivals all over Florida and has also recorded a few songs which you can hear in the music section of this website. He is currently working on a film called "A Real Rock Story" which will cover the drama and struggle of being in a rock band, the ability of music to carry people through difficult times, the psychology and misconceptions of rock and heavy metal music, the South Florida music scene, and whether or not it's possible to balance a professional career with an artistic lifestyle in the age of social media.
Wanting to see and experience everything he can, Daniel has built up quite an impressive travel resume. From Europe, Africa, the Middle East, South America, the United States, and more... Daniel has seen a very good portion of the world. He recently returned from traveling around Africa where he visited South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya as well as several cities in the Middle East and Europe.
Aside from adventure, sightseeing, and safari's, Daniel spent a few weeks volunteering in the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya where he taught English, Music, Photography, and Technology to locals, school kids, and other volunteers. He was also involved with wildlife monitoring, conservation efforts and education, lion and elephant data collection, building repairs, helping residents become more involved in tourism and environmentalism, and more. He is currently sorting through photos and videos to add to the travel section of this website.
Career wise, Daniel is a seasoned IT Professional with over 15 years of experience. He has provided services to large well-known companies (DELL, General Electric, Leon Medical Centers, Baptist Health South Florida) as well as government agencies (Federal Aviation Administration, Homeland Security). He has an extensive background providing technology support to a variety of fields with a very diverse and professional workforce and a proven track record of success and effective leadership.
Last but not least is Daniel's photography. He's taken memorable photos from all over the world as well as reality shows, documentaries, corporate events, music videos, and a number of legendary artists live in concert. He has upcoming plans to shoot many more concerts, the docu-series "Top Recruiter" in Europe, and also a few creative projects in the coming months. He is constantly evolving and constantly trying to take his passions and interests to the next level because according to him... "you just gotta do what you love".
